FAQ

What happens after I apply?
Our recruitment process is designed to be simple, flexible, and easy to access.
- Application Review – We review all applications submitted to identify candidates who may be a suitable match.
- Initial Prescreen Interview – If shortlisted, you’ll receive an SMS and email invitation to book a time that suits you for a virtual interview with our Recruitment Team. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and learn more about your goals, experience, and career aspirations.
- Employer Interview – If there’s a suitable opportunity, we’ll connect you with one of our Employer Partners for the next stage of the process. This interview may be virtual or in person depending on the employer’s requirements.
- Ongoing Communication – We’ll keep you updated throughout the process so you know where things are at and what to expect next.
Our goal is to make the experience efficient, supportive, and positive from start to finish.
-
How long does the process take?
Timeframes can vary depending on the role and availability of interviews.
For both the Initial Prescreen and Employer Interview stages, we recommend allowing 30–45 minutes to ensure there’s enough time for conversation and for you to ask questions.
For virtual interviews:
- Log in a few minutes early to test your technology
- Find a quiet space with a reliable internet connection
- Have your phone nearby in case we need to contact you
For in-person interviews:
- Allow extra time for traffic, parking, or public transport
- Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in and feel prepared
-
How do I get interview ready?
Preparation doesn’t mean having all the answers, it means taking some time to reflect on your experiences and goals.
We recommend thinking about:
- What interests you about this opportunity
- Your previous work, study, volunteer, or life experiences
- Examples of times you’ve solved problems, worked in a team, or overcome challenges
- Your strengths and areas you’re continuing to develop
- What motivates you and what you’re looking for in your next role
Most importantly - be yourself. We want to get to know you.
-
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing something that helps you feel comfortable, confident, and professional.
You don’t need formal business attire unless advised by the employer. Smart casual is appropriate for most interviews.
A good rule of thumb is to dress one step above what you think you’d wear in the role.
-
What happens after my interview?
After your interview, our team will review feedback and discuss next steps with you.
If progressing, we’ll guide you through the next stage. If not, we’ll keep you informed and provide updates where possible.
-
Will I hear back?
Yes. We aim to communicate regularly throughout the recruitment process so you know the status of your application and what to expect next.
If there are any delays, we’ll do our best to keep you informed.
-
Need to reschedule your interview?
We understand that plans can change.
If you need to reschedule, please let us know as early as possible so we can arrange another suitable time.
-
Do I need experience?
Not always. Different opportunities have different requirements.
We encourage candidates to apply even if they don’t meet every requirement -transferable skills, attitude, motivation, and willingness to learn can all be valuable.
-
Can I ask questions in my interview?
Absolutely! Interviews are a two-way conversation.
We encourage you to ask questions about the role, team, employer, expectations, development opportunities, and anything else that will help you decide whether it’s the right fit for you.
